Nice big open space. Big park for kids to play. You can go fishing on the bank or in a boat! First time we went. We will go back. The only issue we had was the mosquitoes! It was horrible. But hopefully it was just today. I hope it's not like that all year. Still I highly recommend this place! I LOVE the walking trail!!

This was awesome! I don't really celebrate Christmas they way I did as a child however I still love seeing the lights, and this experience was amazing!! Entry was $3 totally worth it and my Princesses really had a blast!! I personally have been waiting for two weeks to come by and see the lights and boy was it worth the wait!!

What a great little park, right off the interstate just a few minutes south of Jackson. The park is free. There were a enough visitors to feel safe and to be able to socialize (kids on playgrounds, people fishing, walkers on nature trails), but was not crowded. Has all the amenities that you could think of - including an visitor's / information center. Much better place to stop and rest while traveling than a gas station or rest area!

Play ground needs some repairs. My granddaughter needed to potty while we were there, and I would not let her use the bathroom there. It was discussing. We had to leave the park for her to potty. I was disappointed, this being our small hometown town park.

What a GEM! You guys... this is a beautiful park with a surprisingly vast array of activities! For starters you can play away to your hearts content on this massive playground! Not pictured is the swings... one swing is a baby/toddler swing that mom/dad can ride in with the baby! I’ve never seen sick and it was fun! This area is always clean & is toddler friendly. Then you can mosey on over to fish, kayak, or view the lake on the multiple benches to take in the breathtaking views of sunset that they provide. Or maybe you want some more action? Hiking the trail never got boring as it changes courses quite frequently and has many memorials, sitting areas, and learning platforms along the way. Only bummer is I wasn’t sure where to start and where it would end. Oh and the geese will chase you so don’t even try to pass them when they are in gang up mode. Then of course you have the disc golf course that goes somewhat along the trail. Looks fun, but I never tried it! Wish we could rent some disc and instructional materials of how to play from the very nice Activity Center where historical articles are fashioned on display. Lastly... maybe your just hungry and wanna hang with some family and friends. There is a pavilion with lots of seating! Oh and I’ve even been to a graduation hosted outside on the midsize covered Stage that has built in ground concrete bench stadium like seating. Best of all... Guys, this place is FREE to enjoy & conveniently located right off I-55 south. Hours range ...(I believe..) from Sun Up until. 9 pm daily. Need a day out? Every age will enjoy this one!
